Project: QFLOW
Lotus Notes Programmer
Qflow involves automating the paper based quality processes into electronic format. It consisted of two modules:
1) Quality Management system
2) Audit Management system
Quality Management System:
The Quality Management system is quality document repository (ISO9000, ISO14001, OHSAS18000 processes) and management of the same.
It takes care of raising of Change request notes (CRN) and the approval cycle of the CRN’s
It also takes care of creation of a Master List, which is a sort of a report at any point giving the latest amendments and status.
Audit Management system:
The audit management system simulates the manual process of the audit of the company. The Audit process consists of creation of audit schedules for the year and subsequently for all the months. After the audit is over it helps in the creation of the Forwarding reports that has the Non Conformance reports (NC). It also has a workflow involved between the auditors and audited for the closure of NC. It also supports creation of various reports, which gives the status of NC, No of NCs for each Department and Cycle time for NC’s etc.

Project: Travel Management System
Lotus Notes Programmer
This project was a workflow application for streamlining the process of travel requisition, travel expense report. In the Pre Journey Cycle the User enters the Travel details like the starting point of journey, the destination point, the cost involved etc. The User then sends it for approval. The document gets approved or rejected depending upon the workflow. Facility of Escalation Process is also provided.
In the Post Journey Cycle the user enters Monthly Expense Summary with all expenses incurred during the month and he sends these details for approval. The expense report is then split into line items so that approver can individually approve, reject or partially approve each expense line item. The documents is then approved or rejected or partially approved depending on the actions taken by the approver. The level of approval is configured to five in the Employee database, so the approval cycle repeats itself as many times as configured in the employee profile. And in the budget database allocation of budget for each employee for every month will done by accounts department, and expense done at the end of the month will be looked up from the expenses database, thus providing the variance to the accounts department.
Finally archiving of documents is also provided; here the administrator can archive the old documents into the oracle database. Integration with Crystal Reports is done for producing reports graphical reports
Responsibilities:
- Developing and coding the application to the specifications
- Unit testing
- Enhancements and bug fixes
- Workflow analysis of Expense report approval cycle and Pre-journey cycle module.
- Designed and coded the Employee Database and Approval Cycle Configuration
- Designed GUI and Identified form fields of the above modules.
- Wrote codes for modules like expense report approval
- Wrote CAPI Code to put the selective replication formula in the replica copies
